RULES
The 1st named player has home advantage (choice of course) and is primarily responsible for contacting their opponent offering 3 dates for the match to be played. Anyone can contact the other you do not need to wait to be called if your name is on the bottom, especially if you are going away or can only play weekends?
All Players must play of their current Channel 4 Handicaps at the time of the match. A complete list of all members handicaps are posted on the web site at www.c4gs.co.uk And will be updated after each monthly golf day. Make sure you check the web site prior to playing any matches? Any match in any round can be played at any time? You do not need to wait until all matches in a previous round have been played? If you know your next opponent get the match played?
All green fees are to be spilt between both players and the result must be phoned/Text into me on 07785 398899 or e-mailed to mike@cicworldwide.co.uk
Within 6 hours of the match being played. All games must be completed by 9pm on the final day allocated for each round. Failure to play the match by the deadline date will mean disqualification for both players. Under no circumstances will extensions be granted. If for any reason one player cannot play the match within the allocated time a walk over must be reported to me by both players involved, confirming who is to go through into the next round.
Format for the competition is Matchplay singles. Competition to be played of FULL difference, of your current, Channel 4 Handicap at the time of the match.
Example: Player 1 Hcp = 18, against player 2, Hcp =10. A difference of 8 shots. Therefore player 1 would receive 8 shots on stroke index holes 1-8.
Play on the day from the Tee’s of your choice and agreed by both players.
The rules of golf will apply at all times and any discrepancies or rulings must be reported to me on the above numbers. The decision of the C4GS committee is final.
